Seeing this poor tiny Italian Greyhound pup, curled tight upon herself, is enough to break your heart. Not even a tiny blanket or towel for her to huddle under, no toys, no chewies - and knowing her mother is probably stuck in a worse cage somewhere, being bred over and over, is even worse. We didn't see any puppy being bought while we were there, but there were prices on some of the cages. A bullmastiff pup lay sleeping in a cage with a "$1999.99 He needs a home!" sign on it. Surely, with prices like that, the store is making enough money to provide these pups with more.
