Yes, that's me, and that is Ray Bradbury
with me! I got to meet him at the Book Expo America in Los Angeles,
and it was such fun! Of the 650 or so authors at the BEA that weekend, Ray Bradbury was the one I
wanted most to meet, as I have been reading his short stories and longer works of science fiction
since I was in elementary school. He was at a lower table than other authors, but he is almost 83 years old,
so he can be forgiven for not perching atop a stool like other authors. Unlike some authors, he clearly loves the public and the attention at signings, and was kind enough to let Paul take my picture with him. Yay! Thanks, Mr. Bradbury!
